WGPO’s first hybrid tournament was a resounding success. There were twenty players, several of whom had never played in a Collins tournament. We all had a good time and made new friends. The tournament format dictated that the player going second chose the lexicon for the game. Most games were played with the Collins lexicon. Kudos to Winter for a well-organized and well-run tournament. We hope that other directors will take up this format.
