Barbara VanAlen and Larry Rand have retired from directing after many years and many tournaments. Bennett Jacobstein organized and directed this year’s Phoenix President’s Weekend tournament. A highlight was a tribute to Barbara and Larry. Laurie Cohen gathered thank yous and pictures from many players, put them in scrapbooks and presented them to the couple.
