On behalf of the Nominations and Election Committee, I am proud to announce the official results of the Word Game Players’ Organization’s very first election of officers, which ran from Dec. 1-14. We commend not only all the members (approximately 27.7 percent) who took the time to vote, but also the commitment and involvement of those who took part in this election as candidates. We congratulate the winners and urge those who didn’t quite make it this time to continue their interest in our organization. There will be ample opportunities in the near future to participate on committees and special boards, and your continued interest will place you in good position for service.
